Title:Race Track Safety Barriers – Mechanical Considerations for Energy Management
Speaker:R.J. Valentine

Speaker Bio: Mr. Valentine has combined his passion for business and auto racing to achieve remarkable success in both fields. As a race car driver, he has been a major player on the competitive racing scene for four decades and has achieved the same level of success in business that he has on the race track. While simultaneously racing and running businesses, he realized a need for a better barricade system at race tracks, so he began developing crash mitigation barriers for all forms of racing. In 2000, R.J. founded Impact Safety Systems (ISS) Barriers for the express purpose of setting new standards in driver/rider protection at racetracks, kart tracks and motorcycle test tracks.
