About Jim Buskirk:

Jim Buskirk, MSEd, PT ’83, SCS, AIB-CON, has helped drive advancements in the assessment and treatment of concussion among amateur and professional athletes, work rooted in his clinical practice and research on behalf of the Department of Defense (DOD) and NASA.

Jim has worked at the cutting edge of research and the development of tools and protocols to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of concussive response to mTBI. He is driven to discover if timely testing and treatment can prevent serious, long-term changes to the brain.

For the past three years Jim has conducted clinical research on mTBI at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s departments of otolaryngology, sports medicine and neurology, and helps educate RFU’s PT students on mTBI/concussion assessment and management.

About Dr. Ryan Stanton
Dr. Ryan Stanton is a Board Certified community emergency physician in Lexington, KY as well as the Medical Director for Lexington Fire/EMS and the AMR/NASCAR/SRX Safety Teams. He is on the Board of Directors for the American College of Emergency Physicians. Prior to medicine, he was in media, working for NPR and continues in media as the Chief Medical Contributor for WKYT-TV in Lexington and hosts The Doc Is In, a weekly segment airing in six markets. Ryan is married to Donna, a med/peds physician and has two amazing children, Ava and Amelia.

About Dr. Meeta Singh

Dr. Singh is currently the Service Chief, Sleep Medicine, Henry Ford Hospital, West Bloomfield, Michigan. Since 2013 Dr. Singh has served as the Sleep Physician to the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers. Dr. Singh is a sleep consultant to various NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB teams as well as college athletic teams. Dr. Singh completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery: Government Medical College, Chandigarh, India. She then completed her Psychiatry Residency at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. She did her Fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan.
