Peter Fiset spent over 13 years in the fire service as an officer and FF/Paramedic before going to work for Holmatro, Inc. in Glen Burnie, Maryland. His fire/rescue career started in 1973 as a volunteer before progressing into the career service with Baltimore County Fire Department in Maryland. Peter has taught multi discipline rescue worldwide to the Military Special Forces, SWAT teams, Fire Departments, and Industry.
Peter’s employment history has also included over 10 years with Vetter airbags where he has taught heavy lifting and Hazmat leak control to the fire/rescue services and Industry also with Airshore International where he taught rescue shoring. With his position as a Regional Manager for Holmatro, Peter was involved with training the INDYCAR Safety Team, FIA safety teams, (F1), fire rescue services, and interfacing with new vehicle manufacturers in the US and Canada. Peter is currently on the SCCA Electric Vehicle Emergency Response Sub Committee and as a member of the International Council of Motorsports Sciences has been involved in Suit Testing with Li-Battery fires. Peter is also involved in local government outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he currently lives.
